In a strange turn of events I received an email from Capcom cancelling my pre-order.
The email states it was cancelled due to “manufacturing complications”… which would make you think more of a delay is needed, not a full blown cancellation. Hopefully they will get the issue ironed out so these will ship next year instead. In other news, the Protoman wearable buster is now finished and has shipped for those of you who pre-ordered from ThinkGeek. I got the email almost the same day as the helmet cancellation… so at least I got SOME good news along with the bad.
Have hope though… as the helmet is still on Capcom’s website, just hidden at the link below.
