Just wondering...
« on: September 21, 2016, 08:56:07 AM »
How many of you guys have played it?  I've seen so many negative things from people that never even tried it, which makes no sense at all.  There's some things that could have been done better, but for a first attempt in the series I think they did a great job overall.  It's definitely challenging, a great weapon selection, good boss and level designs, good music, etc.  I for one am looking forward to a 2nd game as soon as they can, and hopefully they learned from their mistakes (like letting Deep Silver do freaking ANYTHING at all, lol).

I've only played the intro stage at a friends house. I  enjoyed it. The best part about it being bad (to others) is that they know exactly what to improve now, therefore make an even better sequel that everyone can enjoy!

Exactly right... Mega Man 2 was much better than the original Mega Man game and the first game got lots of critique as well back in the day to the point no one ever thought it would get a sequel... and look at it now!  Hundreds of games.  lol  I hope Mighty No. 9 gets at least a few sequels.

Things you say about people hating MN9. Not having played it. How do you know? Trolling. People are just expressing an honest opinion without any intention of pissing anyone off.

What? You can't give an honest opinion on a game if you haven't even tried it for yourself. . Just makes you look stupid.

Having an opinion from someone else's experiences is even worse. You have to play it to have a solid opinion.

I know. But I did point out that anyone hating it in a video probably played the game.

Well, I'll probably play the Seam version. Just not Wii U

I believe many complaints come from the fact that people were expecting a MegaMan game and got something slightly different. I gotta admit that some mechanisms look odd, like the dashing into enemies thing, but it looks like a good game overall.
I'd love to give it a try one day

I will give it a try. But on Steam because I don't have a PS4 or XBOX ONE, and I don't want it to brick my Wii U. Also, I heard the Steam version is probably the best

That was a misunderstanding btw... lol  It didn't brick anything... the original poster only had to power the system off and back on and then they tweeted again that it was ok, but the damage was already done and everyone spread the rumor.  lol
