Right!  My only question is... what will it be backwards compatible with?  It looks to use cartridges much like the 3DS... so maaaaaaybe 3DS games will play on it too?

I hope it does. It would be pretty darn cool to play 3DS games (and I'm assuming DS too) on the big screen.

Sure looks amazing. But I too wonder what it is backwards compatible with.

Well... I just confirmed the Switch will NOT be backwards compatible with anything   :'(... but that doesn't mean it won't have the virtual console games to carry over.

Another confirmation... the docking station is only for charging and for connecting the game to the TV... it won't add any storage or computing power the the system.  So basically... the switch is a very fancy Nintendo made tablet with an A/V docking station.  If this is the case... I hope the rumors of the $300 price tag are true... or maybe less.

Ah man  :( I'm still sure the computing/storage power will be amazing though.

With the system being cartridge based loading times should be practically nothing at all.

Hopefully a new Mega Man game celebrating the 30th anniversary of Mega Man will be released on the Switch and not be a PS4 and Xbox One exclusive. Not saying that they shouldn't be on those 2 systems, but they shouldn't ONLY be on those 2 systems.

I'll be getting the switch soon. I hope they start making some good new games for it!
